EO INSPECTS PACs IN TIRUMALA

TIRUMALA, APRIL 5: As the summer vacation is set to start in a couple of weeks, TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao, inspected PACs and kalyanakattas in Tirumala on Sunday.

Talking to media persons, he said, there are about 7000 rooms and cottages in Tirumala to accommodate pilgrims but since the influx is more than 70thousands during vacation season, these rooms may not suffice all. “So we have concentrated to improvise PACs in Tirumala which have about 15 to 16 dormitories in each complex. We have directed to improve sanitation in the PACs and also outsourced staff to see that the pilgrims get the lockers without any inconvenience. If the PACs are improved, then it would lessen burden on TTD on rooms.

TTD Chief Engineer Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, SE Sri Ramachandra Reddy, EE Sri Krishna Reddy, DyEO Smt Baby Sarojini, ACVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy and others were present.
