EO RELEASES SRI KALYANA VENKATESWARA SWAMY ANNUAL PAVITHROTSAVAM WALL POSTERS

Tirupati, 13 Oct. 14: The Annual Pavithrotsavam in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Srinivsa Mangapuram near Tirupati will be conducted from October 19 to October 21 told Sri MG Gopal, Executive Officer, TTDs.

Among the series of festivals which are being performed every year in this unique Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Temple Pavitrotsavams are considered to be significant as this happens to be a purifacatory festival.

The priests symbolically seek the pardon of the Lord for their possible acts of all omissions and commissions committed either knowingly or unknowingly during the performance of daily rituals to the presiding deity inside the temple.

TTD EO released the posters on Monday at his Bungalow in Tirupati. The three day Pavithrotsavams in the famed temple of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy commence with Ankurarpanam on October 18. While the other important days include Pavithra Prathista on October 19, Pavithra samarpana on October 20, Purnathi on October 21.
