EO REVIEW AND INSPECTS PANCHAMI ARRANGEMENTS

THE SANCTITY OF PUSHKARINI WATERS REMAINS FOR NEXT THREE DAYS- EO

TIRUCHANOOR, 13 December 2015: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Sunday reviewed and inspected the Panchami Teertham arrangements which is scheduled for December 16.

He instructed the TTD Vigilance officials to coordinate with the police and make elaborate security arrangements for the big fete. The EO directed the officials concerned to stream line the pilgrim crowd while sending them for the holy bath on Panchami. “Carefully deal in crowd management while first exit and second entry inside the pushkarini. It is our more challenging part”, he observed.

Later speaking to media persons the EO said the auspicious time during Panchami is at 11:55am. However the sanctity of holy waters remains for next three days. So the pilgrims can have a leisure bath during these days. We have also arrange Annaprasadam distribution at three different centres to serve the pilgrims on this occasion”, he added.

Later the Tirupati Urban SP Sri Gopinath Jetti said, about 2000 police have been deployed for the Brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor. “The engineering wing of TTD have set up various entry and exit points all around pushkarini. In unison with TTD vigilance we will streamline the pilgrim crowd and see that no untoward incident take place during the celestial fete”, he added.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO Sri D Nagendra Kumar, Spl Gr DyEO Smt Chenchulakshmi, SE 3 Sri Sudhakar Rao, SE Electrical Sri Venkateswarulu, Health Officer Dr Shermishta and others were also present.
