EO REVIEWS ON PM VISIT ARRANGEMENTS

TIRUMALA, 21 October 2015: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Wednesday noon reviewed on the arrangements for visit of Honourable Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi to Tirumala at Annamaiah Bhavan.

The EO instructed the Reception wing to be more alert in the wake of the visit by Honourable PM who will accompanied by a few cabinet colleagues, Prime Ministerial staff, Honourable Governor of AP and CM.

“There should not be any deviation in the prescribed guide lines while discharging your duties during the PM’s visit. The PM will be arriving to Tirumala by 5pm and start to Tirumala temple from SPRH by 5:10pm. The scheduled time of darshan is between 5:15pm to 6pm. Again he will start from the main temple by 6pm and reach SPRH by 6:05pm and will start from Tirumala by 6:15pm. The staff who are deployed for PM visit should be more alert in their designated areas”, he added.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, CVSO Sri G Nagendra Kumar and other HoDs were also present.

FIRST EXIT AND SECOND ENTRY SHOULD BE HANDLED EFFICIENTLY-EO

The EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao called upon the vigilance officials of TTD and Police wing to handle with efficiency the first exit and second entry into the Swami Pushkarini with more efficiency during Chakrasnanam on Thursday.

Reviewing on Chakrasnanam arrangements at Annamaiah Bhavan on Wednesday, he instructed the concerned to check the entry and exit gates into the pushkarini well in advance and allow the pilgrims only after 4am. “If we could able to manage the crowd efficiently during first exit and second entry situation then there will not be any issue. The exit and entry of pilgrims should be handled with care by deploying more srivari sevakulu, scouts and guides, vigilance and police personnel”, he added.

Meanwhile 32 swimmers and three NDRF personnel have been deployed along with boats as a precautionary measure. While Annaprasadam wing of TTD will provide coffee and buttermilk to the pilgrims at Vaibhava Mandapam and near Sri Varahaswamy temple.
