EO TAKES PART IN ANNABHISHEKAM IN SRI KT

Tirupati, 14 November 2016: The Annabhisheka Mahotsavm was held to the presiding deity of Lord Kapileswara Swamy in Sri Kapilateertham temple in Tirupati on Monday.

TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao who took part in this celestial fete said, on the third Monday in the auspicious Karthika month has coincided with Karthika Pournami festival this year. “TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the pilgrim crowd management by erecting barricades and deploying security”, he added.

Meanwhile the devotees were allowed for darshan from 2am till 11am on Monday. The unique religious fete Annabhishekam was performed performed between 11am and 4pm. The devotees were later allowed for Annabhisheka darshanam from 4pm to 6pm. The devotees were for sarva darshan from 7:30pm till closure of the temple.

Additional CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy, Vgos Smt Vimala Kumari, Smt Sada Lakshmi, Health Officer Dr Sermista, temple Dyeo Sri Balaji were also present.
