EXCERPTS OF TTD TRUST BOARD MEETING
TIRUMALA, JANUARY 30:The TTD Trust board meeting held at Annamaiah Bhavan under the Chairmanship of Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, has given green signal to some important resolutions.
Some excerpts:
MAHAMANI MANDAPAM: The TTD board has given its nod towards the design of Mahamani Mandapam and also approved to call for tenders.
SRI VENKATESWARA VAIBHAVAMS
The board has approved to conduct Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams for five days instead of nine days. From February 7-12, the fifth phase of Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams will take place at Hyderabad.
ENGINEERING WORKS:
Nod for tenders towards the construction PAC at Antarvedi Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy temple for Rs.4.90cr and for sanction of Rs.22.50lakhs for the renovation of Sri Veerabhadra Swamy temple in Pachava village of Prakasam district.
Approved for tenders towards the improvement of Block no.2 in Sapthagiri Rest house at a cost of Rs.2.80cr and Block No.3 at Rs.3.10cr
Sanctioned Rs.3.30cr towards the laying of BT road for second Ghat road
Approval for tenders for Housekeeping, sanitation and maintenance of Madhavam Rest House in Tirupati at Rs.2.75cr and in Vishnu Nivasam at Rs.7.10cr to FMS for a period of two years from 2016-18.
Sanction for an amount of Rs.4.50cr to construct Octopus Camp Bhavan at Papavinasanam Toll Gate
MARKETING SANCTIONS:
Approval towards procurement of 1.8lakh kilos of Green Gram at a cost of Rs.1.93cr(for 1 year)
36 thousand kilos of cardamom – Rs.3.22cr(for 4 months)
9Lakhs kilos of Cow Ghee – Rs.25.65cr(for 3 months)
24lakh kilos of BG Dal-Rs.16.92cr(for 6 months)
1.80lakh kilos of Tamarind-Rs.1.50cr(for 1 year)
HUMAN HAIR AUCTION
Through the e-Auction human hair in October 2015, TTD garnered Rs.5cr while for November 2015 the income is Rs.3.53cr
TEMPLE SANCTIONS:
Approval towards the Gold Malam works of Bangaru Vakili in Srivari temple
Approved towards the introduction of Hanumantha Vahana Seva in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple at Tirupati on Amavasya of every month
REVENUE AND PROPERTIES
Approval for disposing of the identified properties which are unviable and not maintained by TTD.
