SV MUSEUM TO OPEN SOON FOR DEVOTEES -TTD ADDITIONAL EO
Tirumala, 25 September 2026: TTD has set up a Healing and Devotional Centre (Pilgrim Experience Centre) in the 17th compartment of Vaikuntam Queue Complex-1, Tirumala, to make devotees’ waiting time more spiritual and informative through modern technology, affirmed TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary.
A field visit was organised for media representatives to the recently opened VQC Pilgrim Experience Centre and the modernised Sri Venkateswara (SV) Museum at Tirumala on Friday followed by a feedback session with the Additional EO at Sudharma Conference Hall.
Waiting Time Made Informative and Spiritual:
The Additional EO recalled that on September 16, the Honourable CM of AP Sri N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated several development projects in Tirumala, including the Pilgrim Experience Centre.
The centre will use 3D and virtual reality technology to present the glory of Sri Venkateswara, Tirumala history, puranas, temple significance, and spiritual themes to devotees waiting in queues and compartments.
The main objective is to transform darshan waiting time from mere waiting into an opportunity for spiritual enrichment and learning.
Content related to virtual reality has already been developed by Durlabha Darshanam, and efforts are underway to deploy it on a larger scale to engage devotees effectively.
In future, high-quality content on Tirumala mythology, devotees’ experiences, Tirumala’s special features, temple history, construction, administration, services, puranas, and donors will be created and regularly screened.
Special System for Content
A dedicated system will be created to ensure a continuous flow of fresh content at the Experience Centre, the Additional EO said.
SV Museum with 14 Galleries:
Another key project inaugurated by the Chief Minister is the newly modernised Sri Venkateswara Museum, the Additional EO said.
The museum has been upgraded to comprehensively showcase Tirumala temple history, heritage, ancient artefacts, and historical objects, along with digital content.
The museum has been designed with about 14 galleries, each with a distinct theme, aligned with the temple tradition and heritage.
A special manual is being prepared for museum operations, covering CCTV installation, staff recruitment, guide services, security measures, and unique numbering of artefacts.
The museum will be operated as per SOPs and is expected to be opened to devotees soon.
New Dimension to Tirumala’s Spiritual Experience:
TTD’s goal is to offer devotees not only darshan but also additional spiritual and educational experiences in Tirumala, the Additional EO said.
By enabling devotees to visit the Experience Centre and Museum during their waiting time and learn about Tirumala history and significance. Such projects will play a key role in shaping Tirumala as a more distinctive spiritual centre, he added.
Media Suggestions a welcome :
The Additional EO said valuable suggestions were being received from media representatives who inspected the Healing and Devotional Centre and SV Museum.
Key suggestions include increasing Telugu content, updating content regularly, and offering a wider variety of themes, which will be taken into consideration.
These suggestions will be internally discussed, and necessary steps will be taken to improve the content and management system at the Experience Centre.

శుక్రవారం ఉదయం తిరుమలలోని వైకుంఠం క్యూ కాంప్లెక్స్-1లోని 17వ కంపార్ట్మెంట్లో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన హీలింగ్ అండ్ డివోషనల్ సెంటర్ను, నూతనంగా ఆధునీకరించిన శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర మ్యూజియంను మీడియా ప్రతినిధులు క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పరిశీలించారు. అనంతరం పద్మావతి అతిథి గృహంలోని సుధర్మ సమావేశ మందిరంలో అదనపు ఈవో మీడియా ప్రతినిధులతో సమావేశమై ఈ రెండు ప్రాజెక్టులపై వారి అభిప్రాయాలను స్వయంగా తెలుసుకున్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా అదనపు ఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ సెప్టెంబర్ 16న రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు చేతుల మీదుగా తిరుమలలో పలు అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టులు ప్రారంభమయ్యాయని, వాటిలో భాగంగా వైకుంఠం క్యూ కాంప్లెక్స్లోని 17వ కంపార్ట్మెంట్లో పిల్గ్రిమ్ ఎక్స్పీరియన్స్ సెంటర్ను కూడా ప్రారంభించినట్లు తెలిపారు.

డిజిటల్ కంటెంట్తో పాటు తిరుమల ఆలయ చరిత్ర, వారసత్వం, పురాతన కళాఖండాలు, చారిత్రక వస్తువులను సమగ్రంగా ప్రదర్శించే విధంగా మ్యూజియంను ఆధునీకరించినట్లు చెప్పారు. దాదాపు 14 గ్యాలరీల్లో ప్రత్యేకమైన థీమ్తో మ్యూజియాన్ని తీర్చిదిద్దామని, ఆలయ సంప్రదాయం, వారసత్వానికి అనుగుణంగా ప్రత్యేకంగా రూపొందించామని తెలిపారు.
మ్యూజియం నిర్వహణకు సంబంధించి ఇప్పటికే ప్రత్యేక మాన్యువల్ను రూపొందిస్తున్నామని, ఇందులో సీసీ కెమెరాల ఏర్పాటు, సిబ్బంది నియామకం, గైడ్ల సేవలు, భద్రతా చర్యలు, కళాఖండాల ప్రత్యేక నంబరింగ్ తదితర అంశాలను పొందుపరుస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
మ్యూజియంను ఎస్ఓపీ ప్రకారం నిర్వహించేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నామని, త్వరలో భక్తులకు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురానున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
