FELLOWSHIPS ON VETURI RESEARCH-TIRUPATI JEO

Tirupati, 6 Feb 2015: Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, said, the students should take up the research on the great works of Sriman Veturi Prabhakara Shastry who dedicated his entire life in bringing out the valuable information on TTD temples and TTD has been encouraging such students through research fellowships.

Addressing the officials of TTD’s Veturi Vangmaya Peetham and Telugu Department HODs in Rayalaseema region varsities at Sri Padmavathi Guest House in Tirupati on Friday, the JEO said, financial aid will be given to the students who are doing research on Veturi works in three phases. Henceforth TTD will organise seminars on Veturi works in a span of every three months and the varsities should send their students to present their papers on Veturi Research works.

He said some rare works are available with TTD and soon copies will be sent to all the universities as they are very much useful for the students. Later he directed the officials concerned to identify and list out such books.

Veturi Vangmaya Peetham Special Officer Dr Samudrala Lakshmanaiah, Telugu Department HODs of various varsities were also present.
