FERVOUR MARKS RATHOTSAVAM

Srinivasa Mangapuram, 5 March 2016: Religious fervour marked the penultimate day of annual Brahmotsavams at Srinivasa Mangapuram as thousands of devotees flocked to witness the Lord , flanked by His Consorts, ride the mighty chariot during the Rathotsavam, here on Saturday.

The event, held between 8 a.m. and 9.30 a.m., began with pomp and gaiety as people competed to pull the chariotencircling the shrine.

In addition, cultural programmes by ‘bhajan’ troupes in front of the chariot stood out as the special attraction during the fête

JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar, DyEO Sri Vekataiah, AEO Sri Dhanajeyulu, ACVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy, Suptd Sri Dinakar Raju, Sri Krishna Rao, Temple Inspector Sri Ramesh, Arjitham Inspector Sri Srinivasulu, Sri Guruswamy Reddy, Temple Staff and large number of devotees took part.
