FIFTH EDITION OF BHAGAVATH RAMANUJA RATHAM TO VISIT 20 HOLY PILGRIM PLACES
Tirupati, 13 November, 16: The Fifth edition of Bhagavath Ramanuja Ratham commencing its journey on November 16 will visit 20 holy nations as part of the 1000th anniversary Utasava celebrations.
The last edition of Ratha yatra with the utsava idols of Vaishnavite saint-poet Sri Ramanuja along with Sri Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi had commenced its journey from Tirumala on May 10.
Sri Ramanuja Ratham will kick off its journey from Tirupati on Nov 16 at 6.30pm and touch Vellore, Tiruvannamalai. On Nov 17 it will touch Thanjavur and visit the Thiruthanjaimamani in Sri Nelamegha Perumal temple, Sri Harasabha Vimochana Perumal and Sri Aduturai Perumal and Sri Gajendravarada Perumal temples. Srivari Kalyanam will be celebrated with devotional discourses at Thanjavur in the evening.
On Nov 17 the Sri Ramanuja Ratham will visit Sri Valavilaramar Perumal Temple at Thiruppulalam Butanakudi, Sri Anda Alakkum Ayyan Perumal Temple at Thiru Adanur, Sri Sarangapani Perumaltemple at Thirukkadasthai and Sri Oppilaiyappa Perumal temple at Thiruvinnagara. Later in the evening discourse and Srivari Kalyanam will be observed there.
On Nov 19 Sri Ramanuja Ratham will touch Kumbakonam and visit Thirunarayur temple, Sri Saranathan Perumal temple at Thirucherai, Sri Bhaktavatsala Perumal temple at Thirukannamanagai, Sri Jagannatha Perumal temple at Thirunandipuravinnagara, Later in the evening Srivari Kalyanam and devotional discourses will be held at Nagapatinam.
On Nov 20 Sri Ramanuja Ratham will visit Sri Kolavelvillirama Perumal temple at Thiruvelliyankudai, Sri Nanmadi Perumal temple at Thiruthalaichangam, Sri Loganatha Perumal temple at Thirukkannakudi. Later in the evening it will reach Nagapatnam after visiting Sri Soundarya RajanNeelamegha Perumal temple at Thirunagai.
On Nov 21 the Sri Ramanuja Ratham will visit Sri SArirajan Melamegha Perumal temple at Thirukkanapuram, Sri Arul Makadal Perumal temple at Thirusirupuliyur, Sri Devadiraja Perumal temple at Thirivahanatur, Sri Parimala Ranganatha Perumal temple. Later in the evening after discourses by prominent exponents, Srivari Kalyanam will be performed at Mailaduthurai.
On Nov 22 the Sri Ramanuja Ratham will return to Tirupati via Sirikai, Cuddalore and Puducherry.
TTD has appealed to all devotes of Lord Venkateswara to take advantage of the Ratham touring their towns and villages and beget blessings and darshan of Sri Malayappa Swami and his consorts along with that of Sri Ramanujacharya.
