FINANCIAL AID TO INJURED PILGRIM

SERVICES OF SRIVARI SEVAKULU IN TAKENOVER TEMPLES

TIRUPATI, FEB 29: The TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao said financial aid will be provided to the pilgrim who lost both his legs in recent ghat road accident.

Reviewing with the officials in his chambers at Tirupati on Monday, the EO said, usually compensation will be paid to devotees who suffer injuries in accidents at Tirumala. However a little more aid will be paid to this young pilgrim who lost his bith legs in the incident.

Later EO instructed the concerned to utilise the services of local srivari sevakulu to maintain pilgrim queues in the taken over temples of Upamaka, Vontimitta, Anantavaram and Chandragiri. He also directed to use the services of beneficiaries of Vedasirvachanam scheme in Upamaka and Anantavaram temples.

He has instructed the engineering wing to complete the pending works in temples and hospitals.

Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Al Projects Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional Facao Sri Balaji and others were also present.
