FIRE FIGHTING TRAINING IN SVETA

Tirupati, 26 February 2016: In the wake of ensuing summer season, a training programme has been conducted to 100 members forest muzdoors and 150 members water works staffs on how to counter forest fires and over come water scarcity.

This two-day training programme was held in SVETA on Thursday and Friday. TTD Forest Officer Sri Sivaram Prasad and District Forest Officer Sri K Satyanarayana trained the forest muzdoors on forest fire fighting mechanisms while Sri T Jyothaiah, DyEE Water works on the measures to utilise water in a limited way, bringing awareness among the pilgrims to use water carefully without wastage etc. water works staffs.
