TTD RELEASES 55669 ARJITHA SEVA TICKETS FOR MAY

TIRUMALA, 1 April 2016: “With a noble aim to enhance spiritual ambience among the visiting pilgrims, we have started Swachanda Tirunama Dharana at all information counters in Tirumala, said TTD número uno officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

After extending the pilgrim viewers Sri Durmukhinama Samvatsara Ugadi greetings in advance, as a part of the monthly Dial Your EO programme in Annamaiah Bhavan at Tirumala on Friday, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao attended to various calls by pilgrims from across the country.

HAWKERS TIRUNAMAM MENACE:

Addressing a pilgrim caller from Vellore of Tamilnadu, who complained of the menace by some hawkers over the forcible wearing of TIRUNAMAM and demanding money from the pilgrim devotees, the EO immediately instructed the vigilance wing to identify such miscreants and take action against them. Adding further he said, TTD has started voluntary Tirunama Dharana by pilgrims themselves at all the ten information counters and one inside VQC. “You can wear the TIRUNAMAM by yourself and the necessary material is provided at all our information counters”, he added.

SAPTHAGIRI ON TIME:

Meanwhile Sri Babu Rao from Khammam and Sri Sivarama Reddy from Kurnool complained of not receiving SAPTHAGIRI magazine in spite of their payment of subscription amount. Ttd EO said, the copies will be delivered to them in three days.

STREAMLINE SRINIVASAM:

Callers Sri Bhaskar from Chennai and Sri Venkateswarulu from Mumbai complained of the untidiness and disorder in the allotment of rooms in SRINIVASAM complex at Tirupati. Replying their queries, TTD EO said, 50% rooms in SRINIVASAM and Vishnunivasam complexes at Tirupati are now transferred into online and there will not any misappropriation after April 3. Regarding keeping the rooms tidy, we are initiating measures”, he added.

CONGESTION AT VENDI AND BANGARU VAKILI:

The pilgrim callers Sri Krishna Rao from Vijayanagaram, Sri Karthik from Vellore of Tamilnadu, complained of congestion at Vendivakili and BANGARU VAKILI to which the EO reacted, the problem inside BANGARU VAKILI has been addressed by making a minor queue line amendment while we are looking for ways to overcome the problem at VENDI VAKILI.

SEPARATE WAITING HALL FOR AGED

Pilgrim caller Sri Ramakrishna from Madira suggested for a separate waiting hall for aged while Sri Nagaraja Sharma from Hyderabad for more battery operated cars for the aged to go to shoe and luggage counters. The EO said, TTD will see the possibilities to set up the waiting Hall for aged. “We are already operating five battery cars for the aged and we will see how to extend the services to luggage and shoe counters”, he added.

ORDERLINESS AT LADDU COUNTERS:

A pilgrim caller Sri Muralikrishna complained of dalaris at LADDU counters to which the EO reacted saying that the menace has drastically come down due to increased vigil and deploying Srivari sevakulu in LADDU counters to render services to pilgrims.

PRASADAM AT LOCAL TEMPLE:

One pilgrim caller from Tirupati Sri Srinivas brought to the notice of EO about the non distribution of PRASADAM in the Prasanna Anjaneya swamy temple located opposite Sri GT in Tirupati, to which the EO said he would immediately pursue the issue.

SPECIAL TEAM TO ATTEND PILGRIMS COMPLAINTS

Later speaking to media persons, the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao said, the motto of TTD is to provide the best possible services to its pilgrims in every area. “During Dial Your EO programme we could able to attend only a few callers. So we have strengthened our call centres and even constituting a team to exclusively look in to the complaints and rectify them immediately”, he added.

VONTIMITTA BRAHMOTSAVAMS IN A GRAND MANNER

The annual Brahmotsavams and Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam on April 20 will be observed in a big way at Ontimitta Kodanada Ramalayam and this would be the first major religious event after TTD has taken over this 13th Century temple.

SUBHAPRADHAM FROM MAY 22-28

Briefing on Subapradam summer camp classes to students of 8,9 and 10 classes, the Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar said, this time we have conceptualised it in a different way. Stalwarts like Sri Chaganti, Sri Samavedam, Sri Paripurnananda and Sri Garikapati Narasimha Rao have also come forward to deliver 45-minute lectures on selected topics of dharma to enhance ethical manners among students. This will be recorded by the SVBC and telecasted and even put on TTD website for the sake of global students. About 23 students from 23 districts of Telugu states will be taking part in 60 centres”, he added.

RAMANUJACHARYA SAHASRABDI AND ANNAMA VARDHANTI

The 1000th Birth Annivsersary of Saint Ramanujacharya will be observed in a big way for a year from May 10 of this year till 2017 and 513th Vardanti of Saint Poet Snnamacharya also in a big way from April 4-7.

DALARI MENACE RESTRICTED

TTD Chief Security Officer Sri Ravinder Reddy and Chief Vigilance Officer Smt Vimalakumari have said that with continuous vigilance, the DALARI menace in Tirumala has drastically come down in the recent times.

SVBC TO TELECAST KANNA AND TAMIL UGADI SPECIALS

Apart from telecasting special programmes on Telugu Ugadi day on April 8, the SVBC has also allotted specific time slots to air special programmes on Kannada New Year’s in Kannada on April 8 Day and Tamil Programmes on Tamil New Year’s Day on April 14, said CEO SVBC Sri Narasimha Rao.

During the summer vacation the Annaprasadam unit of Ttd will serve food to pilgrims one and a Half hours more than the normal days, said the Dyeo Sri Venugopal.

BEST EFFORTS TO MINIMISE WAITING HOURS:

The temple Dyeo Sri C Ramana said, the temple management will work day and night and put its best possible efforts to reduce the waiting hours of pilgrims for darshan during summer vacation.

COMPLETION OF SECOND GHAT IN TWENTY DAYS

The Chief Engineer of TTD Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy said, the department will complete the second ghat renovation works in next 20 days with time bound action plan.

SATYASAI TO TRAIN SRIVARI SEVAKULU

TTD PRO and HoD of Srivari Seva voluntary service wing of Ttd Dr T Ravi said, the Satya Sai Seva Samithi organisers will train Srivari Seva volunteers from May 1 onwards to enhance the quality of services among the Srivari Seva volunteers.
