GANGA PUJA PERFORMED AT KAPILATEERTHAM

TIRUPATI, NOV 20: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao along with Tirupati Jeo performed Ganga Puja in Kapilateertham on Friday evening.

Speaking on this occasion he said, every year it is a usual practice to perform Ganga Puja in the auspicious Karthika month in Kapilateertham by TTD water works department. “This year we had good rains which filled all the dams in Tirumala putting an end to serious water scarcity problem in hill town. The water in our dams will meet our requirements for the next 400 days. As an added attraction to the scenic beauty of Seshachala ranges many of the water falls embedded in hills are gushing out including the most famous Kapilateertham, Malavadigundem etc.”, he added.

SE 1 Sri M Ramesh Reddy, EE Sri Jagadishwar Reddy, temple Deputy EO Sri Balaji, and others were also present.

Later Ayudha Puja was also performed at water works department office in Old Huzur Office.
