GEAR UP FOR APPALAYAGUNTA FETE-TIRUPATI JEO

Appalayagunta, 29 May 2017: Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar on Monday reviewed the arrangements for the annual mega event in the famous Sri Prasanna Venakteswara Swamy temple at Appalayagunta about 20km from Tirupati which are scheduled from 6th to 14th of June.

Reviewing with various HODs in the temple premises itself, the JEO instructed the Health department officials to maintain hygiene in the temple premises. He directed the engineering department to erect beautiful thematic cutouts and electrical illuminations.

Later he informed the garden department to decorate with floral themes and vigilance to deploy required number of security personnel especially on Garuda Seva day. He also instructed PRO department to take up the publicity for the event in a wide manner and also to deploy abled bodied Srivari Seva volunteers to guide the pilgrims. He has directed the HDPP and other projects to organise attractive programmes with devotional groups in front of the procession of every vehicle during the nine day event.

The Jeo also inspected the ongoing preparatory works for the big fete and instructed the concerned to complete all pending works in next couple of days.

Special Grade DyEO Sri Munirathnam Reddy and other officials were also present.
