GEAR UP FOR RADHA SAPTHAMI-EO
Tirumala, 17 January 2017: As the hill shrine of Tirumala is gearing up to host another big religious event annual Rathasapthami in the next fort night’s time, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has instructed the heads of various departments to gear up for the same.
During the weekly review meeting held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday, the EO instructed the HoDs to come out with an action plan to execute the services to the pilgrims on the big day with more efficiency in their significant areas.
The TTD número uno officer instructed the Annaprasadam and Health officers to keep ready 1.5lakh buttermilk and six Lakh water packets ready on that day.
The EO also directed the HDPP chief Sri N Muktheswara Rao to bring out some innovative artistes groups to perform before Vahana sevas on Rathasapthami day apart from recitation of Aditya Hrudayam by students of Balamandiram and Surya Namaskarams in all the district head quarters.
He instructed the SVBC CEO Sri Narasimha Rao to display interesting promos on TTD welfare activities, trusts and scheme during the gap of each Vahana Seva.
“Design programmes in such a way that our activities should reach wider range of devotees. The schemes launched by TTD can be heard to the pilgrims through the voices of eminent spiritual scholars like Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao, Sri Velgudi Krishnan in Telugu and Tamil respectively. Also bring out the brochures on Ttd trusts in more attractive manner”, he added.
FIRE FIGHTING OFFICES IN MTVAC AND POTU-TTD EO
To prevent sudden fire accidents without any delay, the office rooms can be constructed for the firemen and gas operators with necessary equipment near Annaprasadam Complex and Potu immediately, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.
The weekly review meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday. During the meeting he said, the fire extinguishing staff should be available round he clock in these sensitive areas to prevent emergency if any.
He also instructed the Health Officer Dr Sermista to negotiate with corporation and other private agencies which are using electrical crematoria to solve the issue of unidentified deceased persons in Tirumala.
The EO directed Chief Medical Officer Dr N Vikas to maintain the record of Medicare extended to the pilgrims patients in Tirumala.
He complimented DFO Sri Sivaram Prasad for successfully carrying out the sandalwood plantation in 100 hectares of land as per schedule.
Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar, Special Officer All Projects Sri N Muktheswara Rao, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy and other officers were also present.
