ANNAPRASADAM BUFFET SYSTEM SHOULD BE ENHANCED WITH HIGH STANDARDS

Tirumala, 4 August 2015: As the annual Brahmotsavams of Tirumala are fast approaching, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has instructed all the departments to complete their pending works before this month end(August 31) and gear up for the mega festival.

The weekly review meeting of EO with various HoDs in Tirumala was held at Annamaiah Bhavan on Tuesday. He has instructed all the HoDs to draw a time line to complete their pending works before this end. “I should see significant improvement from all departments with respect to pilgrim service during the nine-day religious fete”, he said.

The EO asked the Annaprasadam wing to improve their standards in the Fourth Hall in Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasada Bhavanam which is exclusively allotted to buffet. “All the materials, serving system etc. should be revived to provide enhanced services to devotees. Provide uniforms, aprons and gloves to the servers and serve in a hygienic environment”, he added.

Later he instructed the TTD Garden and Forest officials to complete the plantation mission within the stipulated time. “By the time of Brahmotsavms, all our gardens should attract the pilgrims with full blossom. Plan unique themes for the mega event during floral expo”, he maintained.He has directed the health and engineering officials to see that there is no complaints of drain leakage and plan of placing more number of mobile toilets for the convenience of the pilgrims.

He has instructed the vigilance officials to see that entry and exit points in galleries are secured and hassle free.

CVSO Sri Nagendra Kumar, Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy were also present.
