GEAR UP FOR VONTIMITTA BTUs – TTD TIRUPATI JEO

Tirupati, 17 March 2017: As the annual brahmotsavams in Vontimitta is scheduled ‪from April 5 to April 14‬ with Ankurarpanam ‪on April 4‬, TTD Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar has directed the officials concerned to gear up for the big fete by completing the ongoing arrangements with in the stipulated time.

The review meeting was held in his chambers in TTD Administrative building in Tirupati on Friday. He reviewed with the officials on arrangements with respect to temple, archakas, utsava vidhi, Srivari Sevakulu, security, publication stall etc. for the ensuing annual Brahmotsavams in Vontimitta.

The JEO instructed the electrical and garden wings of TTD to come. Out with attractive settings for the big event. “As the Honourable Governor and CM of AP and other state dignitaries are likely to take part in Sita Rama Kalyanam on April 10, all the necessary arrangements should be in place for the big day”, he added.

He said, “‪On April 5‬, Dhwajarohanam, ‪April 8‬ Hanumantha Vahanam, ‪April 9‬ Garuda Vahanam, ‪April 10‬ Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam, ‪April 11‬ Rathotsavams are some of the most important days during the nine day fete. So elaborate security arrangements should be made in co-ordination with the district administration and police to see that the pilgrims devotees are not put any sort of inconvenience. Sprinkler waters should be arranged to give relief to the devotees from scorching temperatures”, he added.

CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Additional CVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, DyEOs Sri Subramanyam, Smt Varalakshmi, Sri Balaji and other HoDs were also present.
