DEVOTEES SPELLBOUND BY THE DIVINE GRACE OF GODDESS

TIRUCHANOOR, DECEMBER 9: Her divine magic knew no bounds. Adding that extra zing thing is the tastefully decorated “Crystal Mandapam” which has been specially decked to carry out Snapana Tirumanjanam fete every day in the temple of Tiruchanoor, the abode of Goddess Padmavathi Devi.

CRYSTAL MANDAPAM MUSES DEVOTEES:

Every day the special Abhishekam-Snapana Tirumanjanam is being carried out to the utsava murthy of Goddess in the Mukha Mandapam, as a part of the ongoing Brahmotsavams. To make this fete look more attractive, every year, the garden wing of TTD comes out with a unique concept to appeal the devotees. Similarly, this year too the “Crystal Maze” concept has been set up by hanging shining crystals reels all over the Mandapam. While the Pradhana Thoranam carried the silver image of Lord Venkateswara, different varieties of fruits including oranges, pineapple, Apple, grapes also hanged from roof top, providing an attractive look. The beauty of the goddess reflected on the mirror chips of the crystals giving an aesthetic feel to devotees.

KURUVERU-VATTIVERU-ALMOND GARLANDS:

Meanwhile while performing Abhishekam with water, milk, curd, honey, coconut, turmeric and sandal paste, at interval of Abhishekam with each of these sacred materials, every time the Goddess was adorned with a different type of garland.

Seven types of garlands including Kuru Vattiveru, Vattiveru, almonds, three types of rose petals and garland of lilies was decorated to Goddess amidst rhythmic Vedic chant by temple priests. The devotees were spell bound by this divine magic while they were witnessing the celestial aromatic bathing fete on Wednesday noon, which provided them a soothing feel.
