GOVERNOR HAD DARSHAN ALONG WITH PILGRIMS

TIRUMALA, AUGUST 25: The Honourable Governor of Telugu Speaking States of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana, Sri ESL Narasimhan, had darshan of Lord Venkateswara along with common pilgrims in Tirumala on Monday evening.

While having darshan, the Governor also inspected the newly introduced three-stepped queue line system inside the sanctum sanctorum which won the appreciation of multitude of pilgrims. The TTD EO Sri MG Gopal and Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju who also accompanied the Governor, explained to him about the set up of various wooden platforms at three different levels which has been enabling the pilgrims to have hassle free darshan.

After darshan, the vedic pundits rendered vedaseervachanam to the Governor. The TTD EO and JEO offered Lord’s Prasadam and lamination photo.

Earlier the Governor offered prayers to Swamy Pushkarini and inspected the ongoing renovation works of the temple tank which is readying for annual brahmotsavams. Later he had darshan of Lord Varaha Swamy. He was given warm welcome with temple honours by the vedic pundits on his entrance at Srivari temple.

SPs Sri Gopinath Jetty, Sri G Srinivas, Temple deputy EO Sri C Ramana and other officials were also present.
