GOVERNOR LAUDS TTD’s PILGRIM-FRIENDLY INITIATIVES

WORSHIPS LORD IN TIRUMALA

Tirumala, 25 September 2016: The honourable Governor of the twin Telugu states, Sri ESL Narasimhan has appreciated TTD for its pro-pilgrim initiatives including the Rs.300 Complex, upcoming Divya Darshan Complex, luggage centres, new koppera Hundi etc.

The first citizen of the two states had offered prayers in the temple of Lord Venkateswara on Sunday evening. He was accorded warm reception on his arrival at Tirumala both at SPRH and Srivari temple by Ttd EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao and Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

After darshan he made offerings in the new Koopera Hundi placed at Lakshmi Devi statue. He lauded TTD mandarins for the pilgrim-friendly measures.

Later he inspected the Rs.300 complex and the distribution of beverages, milk etc. arranged by TTD for seeghra darshan pilgrims. The Srivari Seva volunteers applied the Tirunamam to Honourable Governor. Later he interacted with some of the pilgrims, who expressed their immense satisfaction over the arrangements made by TTD. He also visited the Divya Darshan complex meant for pedestrian pilgrims which will be opening shortly.

TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Collector Sri Siddharth Jain, temple Deputy EO Sri Kodanda Rama Rao and others were also present.
