GOVINDARAJA SWAMY RIDES KALPAVRIKSHA VAHANAM

Tirupati, 17 May 2016: The processional deities of Lord Govindaraja Swamy, accompanied by His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, were taken out in a grand procession atop the celestial carrier, ‘Kalpavriksha Vahanam,’ on the fourth day of ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, here on Tuesday.

Since morning, devotees thronged in huge numbers to witness the procession and it is believed that deity riding the celestial vehicle (Kalpavriksha Vahanam) will not only bestow good fortune but also fulfil the desires of the devotees.

H.H.Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala Mutt, H.H.Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Local Temples DyE.O Smt Varalakshmi, Exe Engineer Sri Jagadeeswara Reddy, Garden Supdt Sri Srinivas and large number of devotees took part in this function.
