HANUMAN JAYANTHI CELEBRATIONS IN 7TH MILE

Tirumala, 31 May 2016: The temple priests performed special pujas including Panchamrithabhishekam with milk, curd, honey, coconut water and Sandal paste to the Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple which is situated in front of the main temple, followed by Archana, Arathi, Naivedyam. Special pujas have also been performed to the Konerugattu Anjaneya Swamy located opposite BhuVaraha Swamy temple and in the evening at around 3pm special pujas were performed to the 60-ft tall Prasanna Anjaneya Swamy at the seventh mile on the first ghat road.

TTD has made elaborate arrangements including free transportation bus facility for the sake of the locals and pilgrims to carry them from Tirumala to Seventh Mile and back to Tirumala on this festival day from 11am till 6pm.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, OSD Sri Seshadhri, Sri Gururaja Rao, Temple Peishkar Sri R Selvam and others took part.
