HANUMANTH JAYANTHI CELEBRATIONS AT SRI KRT AND BEDI ANJANEYA SWAMY TEMPLE

• Special rituals at the Prasanna Anjaneya temple at Walkers path 7th mile and Japali theertham

Tirupati, 21 May 2017: The TTD celebrated holy event of Hanuman Jayanti in a grand manner at various Anjaneya temples in Tirupati and Tirumala- Sri KRT, Bedi Anjaneya temple at Tirumala and Japali theertham and Prasanna Anjaneya temple at 7th mile of Walkers path as well.

It is a practice to observe Hanumanth jayanti on Vaishakha Bahula Dashami day every year. As part of the tradition special abhisekham was performed at the Bedi Anjaneya temple in front of Srivari Temple in the morning and as well at the Prasanna Anjaneya temple 7th milestone of walkers path in the afternoon. TTD organized special free buses for benefit of devotees to visit the Prasanna anjaneya temple.

Large number of devotees also visited and had darshan of Anjaneya temple at the Jupali thirtham.

After the daily morning rituals the priests will perform abhisekham for the Anjaneya idol and the utsava idols of Sri Sitarama, Lakhana idols. In the evening the Hanuman Vahana seva will be taken out in a grand and glittering manner at the four-mada streets of the KRT.

Among others several TTD officials and devotees participated in the events at all temples in and around Tirupati and Tirumala.
