HASSLE FREE DARSHAN TO PILGRIMS WITH TEAM WORK

TIRUMALA, MAY 26: Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju appreciated the team work of all departments in Tirumala which resulted in providing hassle free darshan to the heavy influx of pilgrims which was witnessed during week last in Tirumala.

The accolades came in from Tirumala JEO during the weekly review meeting held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday. He said all the departments sweated out day and night which resulted in providing darshan to 2,78,977 pilgrims during last week end. “Because of the team efforts we could able to provide darshan to 95,113 pilgrims on Friday, 95,677 on Saturday and to 88187 pilgrims on Sunday. Even the Kalyanakatta also recorded highest number of tonsures in TTD’s history”, he maintained. He wished that the departments should continue to work with same spirit in future also.

Later in his review, the JEO instructed the departments concerned to display boards in five different languages including Telugu, Hindi, English, Tamil and Kannada on the information about issuing additional laddu tokens in the laddu tokens issuing counters of VQC II. He also instructed the engineering wing to see that rain water will not stagnate inside temple and near ATC parking areas.

He directed the concerned to taken necessary measures to see that all the 31 counters in Laddu Issuing Complex work without any interruption for the sake of the pilgrims.

For easily transporting the Parakamani coins, the JEO has directed to check for a relevant equipment by negotiating with IIT experts.

Additional CVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, SE Electricals Sri Venkateswarulu, IT (I/C) and GM Transport Sri Sesha Reddy, Deputy EO Temple(I/C) and Annadanam Sri Venugopal and other senior officers were also present.

Later in the evening the JEO inspected the ongoing engineering works in Tirumala along with Engineering officials.
