HDPP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MULLS INNOVATIVE DHARMIC PROGRAMMES

TIRUPATI, NOV 16: The executive committee under the chairmanship of TTD board Chief Sri K Bapiraju held at Sri Padmavathi Guest House in Tirupati on Saturday evening resolved to take up more and more spiritual programmes in nook and corner of the state as a part of its noble mission of the propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma.

The committee comprising TTD EO Sri MG Gopal and TTD Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar as its members with stalwarts hailing from various fields including renowned scholar Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao, former DGP Sri Aravind Rao and philanthropist Sri Anjaneya Raju with HDPP Special Officer Sri B Raghunath as convenor, in its maiden meeting has taken some important decisions.

Later Sri Bapiraju briefed the media on the resolutions. Some excerpts-

• To perform Srinivasa Kalyanams in villages after checking the credibilityof the organisers who have putforth the request for celestial marriage, to avoid controvesies and to have transparency in the noble programme

• To provide a room on free of cost for two days for the couple who are tying the knot in Tirumala. The bride will also be presented with the vermilion and turmeric packets from the temple of Goddess Padmavathi and a set of bangles.

• To fill up the vacancies of district organisers of Dharma Prachara Parishad to enhance the publicity activity

• The youth should be encouraged to write Ramakoti one hour in the respective temples of their villages to inculcate spiritual and dharmic values among them.
