HEAVY RUSH IN TIRUMALA-JEO PERSONALLY INSPECTS ARRANGEMENTS
Tirumala, 23 May 2015: As the summer vacation are coming to an end in few days, the temple town of Tirumala witnessed heavy surge in pilgrim rush on Saturday.
TTD has made elaborate arrangements to cope up with the pilgrim rush. Over 2500 Srivari Seva volunteers have been deputed at various points including all darshan points, VQC I and II, Annaprasadam, Health, vigilance, Temple and other wings in Tirumala to control the pilgrim rush.
Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju has personally monitored the arrangements and inspected the queue lines, VQC I and II, laddu counters, four-mada streets etc. and instructed the concerned officials to see that the arrangements of food, buttermilk, water distribution be performed round the clock during week ends in connection with heavy pilgrim rush.
Meanwhile, the Annaprasadam wing offered food to the pilgrims waiting in queue lines, compartments, foot path routes at regular intervals utilising the services of Srivari sevakulu.
Senior officers including SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy,PRO Sri T Ravi,Deputy EE Sri Harshavardhan Reddy, have also been deputed to vigil and supervise the arrangements at different points in Tirumala during week ends.
