UGADI ASTHANAM OBSERVED WITH RELIGIOUS FEFVOUR

ONLINE SRIVARI SEVAKULU TO BE ENHANCED TO 1000

Tirumala, 29 March 2017: The Hemalambi Ugadi predicts good rains, rices and happiness to be bestowed on humanity as per Telugu almanac Panchangam which was rendered in Tirumala temple on Wednesday as a part of Ugadi Asthanam.

After performing temple court to processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy flanked by his two consorts Sri Devi, Bhu Devi, Sri Viswaksena in Bangaru vakili, the TTD pundit rendered the forecasted results in Panchangam in the new year day of Telugu calendar.

Later speaking on this occasion TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao wished all the Telugu speaking devotees Ugadi Greetings and said TTD is committed to offer better services to pilgrims. “Even we are now planning to enhance the number of Srivari Seva volunteers who are enrolling online to 1000 from June 1 onwards”, he added.

The EO also complimented Garden wing of TTD for making unique vegetable and floral structures including “Dasavaratara” in watermelon, grape roof, floral elephant, pineapple chariot etc. The devotees had a long day taking photographs and selfies in front of some of these structures which were arranged outside the temple in the front yard.
