HERBAL INGREDIENT TO CLEAN BOONDI POTU

Tirumala, 13 June 2016: To clean the boondi POTU, TTD is mulling to use a non chemical, herbal mixture and Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju instructed the Health Officer Dr Sermista to test the feasibility of the ingredient.

Review meeting with senior officers took place at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Monday.

During this meeting the jeo instructed the health officer to clean the boondi POTU at regular time intervals to clean the thick deposited reminiscence of ghee during boondi preparation. He also directed her test the herbal mixture for its acidity and alkalinity before it is used.

Later he directed all the HoDs to come out with an action plan to clear the scrap material from Tirumala and shift it to Tirupati.

As the rainy season is approaching he instructed the forest and electrical wings of TTD to take up special drive to cut down branches as a safety measure.
