“HINDU SANATANA DHARMA IS THE “JAGATGURU” OF SPIRITUAL PATH”- AP ENDOWMENTS MINISTER SRI MANIKYALA RAO

PONTIFFS AND SEERS GRACE THIRD DHRMIKA SADAS IN TIRUMALA

TIRUMALA, DECEMBER 2: The Dharmika Sadas is aimed to protect, preserve, propagate ethical values embedded in Hindu Sanatan dharma for the welfare of the entire humanity and to retain the “Jagat Guru” image of our dharma by taking up dharmic activities in a massive way involving the people from grass root level, asserted Sri P Manikyala Rao, the honourable minister of Endowments of Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing the inaugural session of the third Dharmika Sadas mulled by Hindu Dharma Parirakshana Trust(HDPT) with the logistic support offered by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) in Asthana Mandapam at Tirumala on Wednesday he said, “Hindu Sanatana Dharma being the most ancient culture, has taught the world the spiritual path which is eternal”,

TEMPLES AS CENTRES OF DHARMIC ACTIVTIY:

Elaborating further, the minister advocated, “We have been preaching the great values embedded in our dharma by practising it since ages. Today there is an urgent need to wide spread the tenets of Hindu Dharma for the benefit of entire humanity. This propagation should commence from grass root level. The people should be involved in our programmes aimed at Dharma Prachara to sustain the glory of our dharma. To reach this goal, we should take up dharma prachara with temples as centres of dharmic activity which they used to be in the good olden days

The minister said, the endowments department has also taken up various dharmic activities to enlighten the masses. The Dharma Prachara Rathams conceptualised by TTD is also giving good results. We are also giving “Pustaka Prasadams” to the devotees as a part of our religious programme. Apart from these activities our education system need to be revived and the students should be taught in ethical and spiritual values apart from General studies in order lead a righteous life and to lead the country too. The greatness of our dharma is it has taught “Service to Humanity is Service to Divinity”, he strongly opined.

The minister sought the blessings of great pontiffs and seers belonging to different mutts hailing from various parts of the country, who graced the sadas to offer their divine advice to retain the glory of hindu Sanatana dharma in the entire world.

INDIA TO LEAD GLOBAL SPIRITUAL PATH:

Earlier in his address TTD Trust Board Chief Dr Ch Krishnamurthy said, today the entire world is looking at our Sanatana Dharma as it is the strength of our country. “We are going to pioneer global spiritual path once again. Sanatana Dharma aims and teaches spirit of service and selfless work for others and thereby brings our consciousness closer to almighty. To achieve this spiritual mission, the great seers, pontiffs and spiritual persons should offer their guidances on how best we can take our dharma to spread across the world”, he added.

PROPAGATION AND PRESERVATION OF VEDAS AND DHARMA OUR PRIME MOTTO:

In his address, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao said, the principles of Hindu Sanatana Dharma are transcendent and laws are eternal, and thus applicable to all people for all times. The prime motto of TTD being the custodian of the country’s biggest temple of Lord Venkateswara is to promote, propagate and preserve the principles of Sanatana dharma and to vedic knowledge for the sake of future generations and sustain its legacy. In this way, we have been doing large number of charitable dharmic, religious and spiritual activities. We are giving financial aid to vedic and sanskrit institutions We are ready to offer our support to like minded organisations also in this regard. We request the revered swamijis to offer their suggestions to wide spread our dharma”, he maintained.

ALL HINDU FAMILIES SHOULD JOIN HANDS IN DHARMA PRACHARA:

The Hindu Dharma Parirakshana Trust (HDPT) chairman Sri PVRK Prasad presiding over the occasion said, all the Hindu families across the world should join hands to take up Dharma Prachara in a big manner. He said the sadas aimed at taking up spiritual activities in a big way involving masses and sustain the glory of Hindu Sanatana Dharma taking the valuable advices of saintly persons who have been doing impeccable services to our dharma through their wide spread charitable activities.
