HUNDI COLLECTIONS OF PAT AND OTHERS TO BE COUNTED TOGETHER SOON: EO

Tirupati, August 8,2016: The foreign coins contributed by the devotees should be systematically segregated at the Parakamani, said the TTD Executive Officer, Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

Speaking at a review with senior officials at the TTD Admin bldg here today the EO also sought suggestions as to whether arrangements could be made to pool and count all the hundi collections of Padmavati Ammavari temple, Tiruchanoor and other local temples at one location in Tirupati. He also wanted that all the metal coins stored at Parakamani should be frequently segregated and counted.

He said to avoid wastage of ghee in ghee tins, arrangements should be made to install a ghee tank at the PAT, Trichanoor and asked officials to frame guide lines on quality, cleanliness and storage of essential commodities like ghee in TTD stores.

The EO directed officials to speed up the construction activity of the annex complex at BIRRD hospital, Tirupati. The staff at the sculpturing division in TTD should undergo respiratory tests for lung related ailments, he said.

He instructed the Addl CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy to take up steps to enhance security measures with additional staff on deputation at the Srivari Temple, Chennai.

Dr Sambasiva Rao also directed the SVBC officials to prepare a special story on the significance and glory of all the religious and pilgrim locations along the Krishna river from its birth place of Mahabaleswaram in Maharashtra till to reached the sea in Andhra Pradesh. On the Day-1 of the Krishna Pushkarams, the events at Mahabaleswaram would be telecast by the SVBC, he said.

The EO also said that renowned artistes, Padmashri and Padma Bhushan awardeeds should be invited to perform at the Nada Neeranjanam in Tirumala.

He also instructed the Devasthanam Education Officer Sri Vijayakumar to convene a review meeting with wardens of all hostels under TTD and ensure that quality food is served to all students. He also wanted the FMS (Facilities Management Services) should be revived at Srinivasam and Vishnu Nivasam to provide quality services to all the devotees as it is done at all guest houses at Tirumala.

Besides the Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar others who participated in the review meeting were Chief Engineer, Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy ,AFA and CAO Sri Balaji, SE Sri Ramesh Reddy and others.
