“I PRAYED LORD BALAJI TO BLESS THE COUNTRY WITH PEACE, PROSPERITY AND SPIRIT OF BROTHERHOOD”-PM SRI NARENDRA MODI

TIRUMALA, 22 October 2015: “I prayed Lord Balaji to bestow His divine blessings on the people of this great country and see that they all lead a peaceful life with prosperity and unity”, said Honourable Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi.

The Hon’ble PM after offering prayers to Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala temple on Thursday evening said that he was immensely happy to have darshan of Universal Lord Balaji on the auspicious day of Vijayadasami.

Sarvesantu Niramayaaha
Sarvebhadrani Pasyantu
Makaschit Dukhabhagbhavet

Sri Modiji said spiritual knowledge is important for every individual to prosper individually as well professionally. With the blessings of almighty the poverty will be get rid off from the country. Seeing happiness on the face of every common man of the country is our priority and we will achieve it with the blessings of Lord Balaji”, he asserted.

Earlier, he was given a grand welcome with Isthikaphal at Mahadwaram. The Hon’ble Governor of AP Sri ESL Narasimhan and Hon’ble CM of AP Sri N Chandrababu Naidu also accompanied the dignitary with union ministers Sri M Venkaiah Naidu, Smt Nirmala Sitaraman, Sri Ashok Gajapathi Raju.

Inside the sanctum sanctorum he was explained about the greatness and importance of Lord inside temple by temple priests. Later the PM was given vedasirvachanam inside Ranganayakula Mandapam. The TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy and TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao presented him the lamination photo of Lord and prasadams. Tirumala Pedda Jiyar Swamy, Chinna Jiyar Swamy, state minister Sri B Gopala Krishna Reddy, CS Sri IYR Krishna Rao, DGP Sri Ramudu, Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasaraju, Cvso Sri G Nagendra Kumar were also present. Apart from them, IG Sri Venugopala Krishna, DIG Sri Satyanarayana, District Collector Sri Siddharth Jain, Urban SP Sri Gopinath Jetti, TTD Trust board members Dr Hariprasad, Sri Bhanuprakash Reddy, Sri Sudhakar Yadav, Sri Sayanna, Sri Ananta, Sri Vaidyanathan Krishnamurthy, Sri Sekhar, Hyderabad TTD Balaji temple LAC chairman Sri C Ramachandra Reddy were also present.
