IDENTIFY LOCAL SEVAKULU AND BHAJAN TROUPES IN TAKEN OVER TEMPLES-TTD EO

Tirupati, 28 March 2016: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao directed the officials concerned to identify the local srivari sevakulu, bhajan troupes and Vedaparayanamdars in the recently taken over outside temples and utilise their services as and when needed.

Reviewing with the senior officers of TTD at his chambers in Tirupati on Monday he said, the volunteers and bhajan artistes should be involved in the temple related religious activities in Upamaka, Anantavaram, Vontimitta and Chandragiri temples whenever there is a major religious programme organised by TTD.

He also instructed the engineering officials to complete the pending works in Vontimitta, Tiruchanoor and Appalayagunta.

“As the summer vacation is set to commence, in view of the anticipated pilgrim rush, elaborate water and buttermilk arrangements should be made at Srivari Mettu and Alpiri footpath routes and the Bhudevi Complex at Tirupati should be made accessible to pilgrims during the peak days”, EO added.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar and other officers were also present.
