“IMPLEMENTING THE IDEALS OF GREAT LEADERS IS A REAL TRIBUTE”-TTD EO

TIRUPATI, APRIL 5: “Notonly following but also implementing the noble ideals of great national leaders is the real tribute to the great souls”, said TTD EO Sri MG Gopal.

Speaking on the occasion of 107th Birth Anniversary celebrations of “Babuji”Jagjivan Ram in TTD administrative building on Saturday organied under the aegis of Welfare Department of TTD, EO said,  India has produced many great national leaders like Mahatma Pule, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr.Babu Jagjivan Ram, Dr BR Ambedkar etc.who pioneered the country by their ideal way of living. “Their sacrifices will become success and their dreams will come true only when we execute our duties and responsibilities with devotion and committment. Then only we can build a nation of social justice and economic equality”, he
added.

Earlier in his speech Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said, “It is the three important qualities of Knowledge-Character-Courage” which made the great national leaders to make an identity of their own and stand as a role model to others. The students should read books and learn about the great sacrifices made by many of our leaders to build a socially-developed country of what we are living today. But it is not the end and still we need to reach new heights in the world which can be possible only if you develop the three essential characters”, JEO said.

In the keynote address, Dr N Dayakar, a research scholar in SV University demarcated the life styles of Dr BR Ambedkar and Dr Jagjivan Ram with instances and said both of them dedicated their lives in the upliftment of Harijans by fighting against the social evil which prevailed in the society to a large extent in those days and emerged as “Champions” in achieving their life goals. He called upon the employees and students to take a leaf out of their page and lead a life of values to become good citizens of the nation.

Earlier some of the employees of TTD also delivered speeches on the occasion. Special Grade Deputy EOs Sri Bhaskar Reddy, Smt Chenchu Lakshmi, DLO Sri Nagarjuna, PRO Sri T Ravi, SE I Sri Sudhakar, VGO Sri Hanumanthu, Welfare Department Dy EO Sri B Rami Reddy were also present.
