INAUGURATION OF ADISESHA REST HOUSE IN TBC AREA

Tirumala, 01 Sep. 12: Hon’ble Union Minister for Home Sri Sushil Kumar Shinde inaugurated TTDs ADISESHA REST HOUSE at Tirumala for the benefit of the Pilgrims.

The approx construction cost of the building is Rs. 450.00 lakhs. The building consists with a cellar + 3 floors and 42 rooms.

 

 

Union Home Minister Sri Sushil Kumar Shinde today said that he was an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara and has been coming to Tirumala more often during his stint as Governor of Andhra Pradesh.

 

Sri Shinde along with his family members arrived at Tirumala this evening and had the darshan of Lord Venkateswara this evening.

 

Later he told reporters that the coveted portfolio Home though was on cards has come to him as a blessing of the divine deity.The Union minister will have darshan of Lord Venkateswara again tomorrow morning before leaving Tirupati.

 

The state  Industry minister Sri Kannala Lakshminarayana, Endowment minister Sri C Ramachandraiah and  MPs Sri. V Hanumantha Rao and  Sri Chinta Mohan accompanied him during his visit.

 

The TTD EO Sri L V Subramaniam, JEO Sri K S Srinivas Raju and  CVSO Sri Ashok Kumar and other TTD officials were present.
