INAUGURATION OF NEW STUDIO OF S.V.F.M COMMUNITY RADIO _ శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వర ఎఫ్‌.ఎం కమ్యూనిటీ రేడియో కొత్త స్టూడియో ప్రారంభం
Speaking on this occasion the EO said that the TTD fondly hopes and rightly believes that the students of the local universities, Colleges, the elderly people, the school students, social activities various job holders, house wives will actively participate in the programme of the S.V.F.M.Community Radio by sharing their experiences and offering valuebale suggestions thereby meeting the envisaged goals of the community Radio.
As per the license accorded by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India, the TTD has started the S.V.F.M community Radio, associated with the S.V.Oriental College at Tirumala on 08-02-2007. It was inaugurated by the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy. The power of S.V.F.M Radio was decided to be 50 watts by the Government with a transmission area of 5km radius on air. However, due to the surrounding hills and trees the radio transmission got hindered and would not reach the community it is intended for.
To overcome this difficulty, it was shifted from Tirumala HVC area to the premises of the S.V.Oriental College, Tirupati. The main objective of this community radio is to provide contemporary scientific knowledge cultural and health consciousness and thereby develop individual progress. It is therefore, very apt that the radio station is located in Tirupati. The Bharath Electronics Limited, Bangalore has provided the necessary expertise in constructing the studios.
The chief goals of the S.V.F.M community Radio are: the programmes emphasis on developmental, Agricultural, Health, Educational, Environmental, Curriculum of Oriental syllabus, Social Welfare community development and cultural aspects. The programming reflects social interest and needs of the local community.
Dr.N.Yuvaraj, Joint Executive Officer, Sri V.S.N.Koteswara Rao, Chief Engineer, Sri Sudhakar Rao, Supdt Engineer, Dr.M.Lalitha Kumari, Officer-in-charge, Sri Nageswara Rao, Exe Engineer, Dr. Vibhishan Sarma, Station Manager and others took part.

తిరుపతి, నవంబర్‌-12,2009: తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వర ప్రాచ్య డిగ్రీ మరియు పి.జి.కళాశాలలో శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వర ఎఫ్‌.ఎం కమ్యూనిటీ రేడియో కొత్త స్టూడియోను తితిదే కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి శ్రీఐ.వై.ఆర్‌.కృష్ణారావు గురువారం సాయంత్రం ప్రారంభించారు.
సమాచార ప్రసార మంత్రిత్వశాఖ జారీచేసిన అనుమతి ప్రకారం శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వర ప్రాచ్య డిగ్రీ మరియు పి.జి.కళాశాలలో ఎఫ్‌.ఎం.కమ్యూనిటీ రేడియోను నిర్వహించాలని తితిదే నిర్ణయించింది. 08-02-2007 నాడు తిరుమలలో అప్పటి ముఖ్యమంత్రి డా||వై.యస్‌.రాజేశేఖరరెడ్డిగా
కనుక ఈ రేడియో కేంద్రాన్ని తిరుమల హెచ్‌.వి.సి. ఏరియో నుండి తిరుపతి శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వర ప్రాచ్య డిగ్రీ మరియు పి.జి. కళాశాల ఆవరణకు మార్చడం జరిగింది. ఈ కమ్యూనిటీ రేడియో ప్రధానలక్ష్యం – విద్యార్థులకు, జనసామాన్యానికి ”సమకాలీన విజ్ఞాన-ఆరోగ్య-పరిజ్ఞానాన్ని, వైయక్తిక అభివృద్ధి కలిగించడమే”. భారత ఎలక్ట్రానిక్స్‌ లిమిటెడ్‌, బెంగుళూరు వారి సహకారంతో అయ్యింది. ఈ ప్రసారాలు 90.4 మెగాహెడ్స్‌ ద్వారా ప్రసారం చేయబడుతుంది.
ఈ కమ్యూనిటీ రేడియో ప్రధాన లక్ష్యాలు
వ్యవసాయక, ఆరోగ్య విద్య, ప్రాచ్యకళాశాల పాఠ్యాంశాలు పర్యావరణ, సామాజిక సంక్షేమం, అభివృద్ధి, భారతీయ సాంస్కృతిక అంశాలకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇవ్వటం, తిరుపతిలోని ప్రజల ప్రత్యేక ఆసక్తులకు, అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా ఉండే కార్యక్రమాలను ఈ రేడియో ప్రసారం చేస్తుంది.
స్థానిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల్లోని, కళాశాలల్లోని విద్యార్థులు, వృద్ధులు, బాలబాలికలు సామాజిక హిత చింతనకలవారు, సాధారణ ఉద్యోగులు, గృహిణు, తమ తమ అభిప్రాయాలను, అనుభవాలను ఈ కమ్యూనిటీ ద్వారా అందిస్తూ, ఈ కమ్యూనిటీ రేడియో లక్ష్యాలను సుసంపన్నం చేస్తారని తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానం భావిస్తున్నది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో తిరుపతి జె.ఇ.ఓ.శ్రీయువరాజు, చీఫ్‌ ఇంజనీరు శ్రీకోటేశ్వరరావు, ఎస్‌.వి.ప్రాచ్యకళాశాల ఫ్రిన్స్‌పల్‌ శ్రీమతి లలిత కుమారి స్టేషన్‌ మేనేజర్‌, ఇన్‌చార్జ్‌ ఆకెళ్ళ విభీషణ శర్మ ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
తిరుచానూరు శ్రీపద్మావతి అమ్మవారి కార్తీక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలలో భాగంగా ఈ నెల 13వ తేది ధ్వజారోహణ కార్యక్రమం అంగరంగ వైభవంగా జరుగుతుంది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని చిత్రీకరించడానికి ఫ్రింట్‌, ఎలక్ట్రానిక్‌ మీడియా ప్రతినిధుల కొఱకు 13వ తేది ఉదయం 7 గంటలకు స్థానిక ప్రెస్‌క్లబ్‌ నుండి తితిదే వాహనం తిరుచానూరుకు బయలుదేరును. కావున మీడియా మిత్రులు ఈ అవకాశాన్ని సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోగలరని మనవి.
