“INCULCATE DHARMIC VALUES AMONG OUR STUDENTS THROUGH “SATSANG”-TIRUPATI JEO

TIRUPATI, SEPT 4: The Joint Executive Officer of TTDs, Tirupati Sri Pola Bhaskar called upon the heads of various TTD Educational Institutions to inculcate the dharmic values among the students studying in the TTD-run schools and colleges with the new programme “Satsang” which commences on Teachers’ Day on September 5.

The JEO had a high level review meeting with the teachers and principals at SVETA Bhavan on Thursday evening in Tirupati. He felt that there is a need to impart dharmic values among the students besides the regular academic education. “As we all knew very well that education without discipline and character is sheer useless to the individual development as well to the society in the long-run. The teachers should take the responsibility of reviving of education system”, he added.

Adding further the JEO said, TTD has designed a noval programme “Satsang” exclusively to impart dharmic values among its students and a special hour has been dedicated to this class which will be taken up by scholarly persons like Dr Samudrala Lakshmanaiah, Dr P Chenchusubbaiah and others. “These classes will be taken at different hours but simultaneously in all the TTD-run educational institutions on Friday. The motto of the programme is to give the best future builders to this great country”, he maintained.

The JEO said, TTD will soon start pre-examination centres to train up its students for competitive exams. “We are also contemplating to conduct Dharmika Vignana Parikshalu to the students of colleges also”, he said.
Later, the JEO examined the new software-“Attendance and Academic Performance Monitoring System” developed for the sake of the students along with the principals of various educational institutions.

Deputy EO Services Sri Siva Reddy, Director SVETA Sri Bhaskar Reddy, HDPP Special Officer Sri S Raghunath, Devasthanams Educational Officer(Academic) Sri Vijay Kumar, Devasthanams Educational Officer(Administration) Smt Hemalatha, principals of all TTD-run colleges were also present.
