INVOLVING PILGRIMS IN BHAJANS TO BE SET AS A TREND-TTD EO

Tirumala, 6 January 2017: The bhajan program mulled by TTD with Dasa, ISKCON and Satya sai organizations in Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Dwadasi involving pilgrims is going to be a trendsetter, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

Addressing the monthly dial your EO program at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday the appealed to the pilgrims to cooperate with TTD on these two important days falling on January 8 and 9 respectively.

“To engage the waiting pilgrims in compartments of Narayanagiri Gardens, we have invited the expert BHAJAN teams from ISKCON and Satya Sai apart from our Dasa project. They will involve the pilgrims in a spiritual environment till their turn for darshan. If we succeed in this attempt, this will be going to set a new trend”, he added.
Answering a pilgrim caller Sri Prasanth from Tamilnadu the EO said the Tamil Channel of SVBC will commence from auspicious Pongal festival.

Answering a pilgrim caller from Gudivada Sri Ghantasala EO said this year TTD has published 10 lakh diaries and some through Postal department to deliver in villages. “We will plan more through postal department in future”, he added.

Another caller Sri Ravindra from K Samudram sought TTD EO for a religious theme park for which the EO said they will verify the possibility.

One caller from Proddutur Sri Prabhakar sought Eo to considered giving vastra bahumanam to devotees for which EO replied that it is not possible and only it will be given protocol VIP dignitaries and some mutt seers only.

A devotee Sri Meghanath from Palamaner complained of irregular pujas in Kosuvaripalle Konetiraya Swamy for which EO reacted that the problem will be addressed immediately.

Another caller Sri Ponnaiah Chowdary from Tirupati sought EO to guide him the procedure to donate his entire property to Lord and the EO told him that the Estate officer of TTD will contact him immediately.

A pilgrim caller Smt Nagamani from Nagari suggested EO to dress the Patti sarees of deities during Kalyanotsavam in more elegant manner and use new jaggery and tamarind during rituals for which the EO assured for the same.

Sri Jayashankar from Guntur said that he had donated Rs.1.72lakhs to Annaprasadam Trust in August and so far he has not received any privileges for which the EO said he will immediately direct the concerned official to arrange for the same. He also informed the pilgrims that TTD has now made e-donation more accessible. “Now the digital pass book will be generated within 48hours”, he added.

Venkateswara Rao from Prakasam sought EO to distribute Sapthagiri across the state for which EO said apart from distribution of books to subscribers online facility is also available.

Another caller Sri Srinivas from Bengaluru sought EO whether he could get an opportunity to serve the Lord. Eo suggested the pilgrim to enrol in srivari Seva voluntary service. ” The pilgrims as volunteers are rendering tremendous services to fellow pilgrims. I appeal more youth to come forward in this service”, he added.
