JAGANMATHA TAKES RIDE ON SARVABHUPALA

Tiruchanoor, 1 Dec. 16: When Lord Venkateswara is believed to be Sarva Jagatbhartha, Goddess Padmavathi who is eloquently seated in His heart is considered as “Sarva Jaganmatha”. To indicate this relationship, the Goddess took celestial ride on the finely decorated Sarva Bhupala Vahanam on sixth day morning during brahmotsavams at Tiruchanur.

IMPORTANCE: Sarva Bhupala means the Emperor of entire Universe. In Hindu mythology, God is the physical structure while His power is Goddess. The Sarvabhupala Vahana depicts the supremacy of Goddess Padmavathi Devi who is the controller of all the worlds.
