JEO INSPECTS OUTSIDE LINES

Tirumala, 15 October 2016: With the last Saturday in the auspicious Perattassi month which is considered holy for pilgrims from Tamil Nadu, Tirumala has witnessed unprecedented pilgrim rush which picked up from Friday onwards, forcing the foot path and sarva darshan queue lines spreading to outside.

Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju who has been continuously monitoring the arrangements in the queue lines from the past two days, has personally inspected the footpath and free darshan lines that are extended in Narayanagiri Gardens on Saturday.

He appealed to devotees to maintain patience, as the hill town is facing unprecedented inflow of pilgrims which will continue till October 17 upto Monday, as Perattassi month will conclude on that day.

Later he has monitored the Annaprasadam, water, sanitation and other arrangements and also inspected the luggage counters in Tirumala.

Special Officer Annaprasadam Smt Chenchulakshmi, Health Officer Dr Sermista, VSOs Sri Ravinder Reddy, Smt Sada Lakshmi and other officers were also present.
