JEO REVIEWS ON SALAKATLA BRAHMOTSAVAMS WORKS STATUS

TIRUMALA, 1 September 2015: With exactly a couple of weeks left for the nine-day mega religious event of annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, the Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju reviewed with various HoDs
on the the status of arrangements.

The meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala. The Jeo instructed all the departments to complete the pending works before September 10 except for a few works like flower decoration and other exhibitions which can be done only a day before.

The JEO said there will be comparatively more rush during Navarathri Brahmotsavams which are scheduled in October rather than annual Brahmotsavams of September. However, these Brahmotsavams will help us to gear up for Navarathri Brahmotsavams. But as the Garuda Seva during both the occasions are falling on Sunday, heavy crowd is anticipated and there should not be any compromise in our arrangements including security, annaprasadam, sanitation, laddu Prasadam, Kalyanakatta etc.”, he observed.

The JEO also instructed the vigilance wing to issue passes to employees, police, vigilance and Srivari Sevakulu who render service in Tirumala during Brahmotsavams with strict guidelines.

“There should not be any deviation in traffic regulation during this mega event”, he added.

TTD CVSO Sri G Nagendra Kumar, all HoDs were also present.
