JYOTHIBA PULE IS AN INSPIRING HUMAN BEING FOR EVER-TTD EO
Tirupati, 11 April 2017: Mahatma Jyothiba Pule stood as a towering personality with his great deeds of social reformation and he is remembered as “Babuji” even today, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.
The 190th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Jyothiba Pule held at Quadrangle of TTD administrative building on Tuesday. Speaking on this occasion, the EO said, “Jyothiba Pule strived hard for the eradication of untouchability and encouraged women education. “He should be an inspiration to all of us in discharging our duties and responsibilities in the best possible manner. The services to our pilgrims should be befitting tribute to our great leaders”, he added.
Earlier in his speech Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar also recalled the life history of Mahatma, the Satyasodhak Samaj founded by him, his efforts towards women education etc.
TTD employees including Sri Subramanyam, Sri Nagarjuna, Sri Ananda Rao also spoke on this occasion.
