KAISIKA DWADASI PERFORMED AT SRIVARI TEMPLE

• TTD EO participated in the annual vahana seva of Ugra Srinivasa Murthy.

Tirumala, 11 November 2016: TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao today said that the Asthanam of Kaisika Dwadasi was held ceremoniously at Srivari Temple after the vahana seva of the Utsava Idol of Ugra Narasimha Murthy on Mada streets in early hours.

Speaking on the occasion the EO said that the hoary festival was performed at over 300 temples in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and only one day in a year, today and also termed as Uthan Dwadasi the vahana seva of Utsava idol of Ugra Narasimha Murthy.

Among others Temple DyEO Sri Kodandarama Rao, VGO Sri Ravindra Reddy , Temple Peishkar Sri R Selvam and others participated in the event.

MAKE MANAGUDI A GRAND SUCCESS- EO

TTD executive officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao today appealed to every one to make the Managudi program commencing from Nov.11 to 14th into a grand success.

He said the Managudi program was conducted by the TTD in collaboration with the Endowment department of AP Government to enhance the devotional environment of temples with cleaning and also prayers and performance of rituals at temples. He urged Bhajan Mandals and Srivari Sevaks to lead the devotees to participate at all temples in villages and towns in large number and chant the Govinda nama on November 14, the Karthika Pournami day.
