KALYANAM AT VONTIMITTA SHOULD BE A SPECTACULAR FETE-TTD EO

Tirupati, 8 April 2017: With just a day to go for the prestigious religious event of celestial Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam at Vontimitta in YSR Kadapa district, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao reviewed the arrangements for the same with senior officials.

The review meeting along with Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar took place in his bungalow on Saturday evening in Tirupati.

The EO directed all the HoDs to complete the beautification of Kalyana Vedika works before Sunday evening. “The decorations including floral decoration, electrical illumination etc. should be completed on time before the event as honourable Governor and AP CM are taking part in the event”, he reiterated.
The EO informed that Golden Shatari and Yagnopaveetam will be offered to Lord on this special occasion. “There will be Shobha Yatra of these ornaments. Even the Savyakhyana Sahita Potana Bhagavatham will also be released by the dignitaries on this auspicious occasion”, he added.

The EO instructed the health, annaprasadam wings to keep ready six lakh water, 2 lakh butter milk and one lakh annaprasadam packets on April 10. “Over 1200 Srivari Sevakulu and 800 Scouts have been deployed for the management of event apart from TTD vigilance and local police. So there should not be any mismanagement”, he instructed Additional CVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy.
