KALYANOTSAVAM HELD IN SRI KRT
Tirupati, 22 October 2016: The monthly Kalyanotsavam in Sri Kodanda Rama Temple was held on the ocassion of the Punarvasu nakshatram, the birth star of Lord Rama on Saturday.
The Kalyanam was performed in the morning from 11AM amidst chanting of vedic hymns by the temple priests and the participant couple were presented with uttariyam, blouse peice, anna prasadam. Later in the evening the utsava idols of Sri Rama, Sita and Lakshman will be taken in a procession along the mada streets of the temple at 5.30PM and further Unjal seva will be at the near by Sriramachandra Pushkarini.
Temple Suptd Sri Umamaheswara Reddy, Temple staff and pilgrims will take part in this event.
