KALYANOTSAVAM IN SRI KRT ON JUNE 19 AND PUSHPAYAGAM IN SRI GT ON JUNE 24

Tirupati, 18 June 2015: The two important and ancient sub-temples of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple and Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple which are under the umbrella of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTDs) in Tirupati have geared up to observed religious events on different dates separately.

Coinciding the occurrence of Punarvasu Nakshatra on June 19, which happens to be the birth star of Lord Sri Rama, Kalyanotsavam will be performed from 11am in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple in Tirupati on June 19. The grihasta pilgrims who are willing to take part in this religious fete can pay Rs.500 on which a couple will be allowed. Traditional dress is compulsory for the Grihastas.

While on the other hand annual Pushpayagam will be performed in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple on June 24. The grihasta pilgrims can pay Rs.516 on which two persons are allowed to take part in this fete.
