KALYANOTSAVAM IN SRI KRT

Tirupati, 5 July 2016: The monthly Kalyanotsavam at the Sri Kodanda Rama Temple was held today on the ocassion of the Punarvasu nakshatram, the birth star of Lord Rama.

The Kalyanam was performed in the morning from 11AM amidst chanting of vedic hymns by the temple priests and the participant couple were presented with uttariyam, blouse peice, anna prasadam. Later in the evening the utsava idols of Sri Rama, Sita and Lakshman will be taken in a procession on the mada streets of the temple at 5.30PM and further accorded Unjal seva at the near by Sriramachandra Pushkarini.

DyEO of sub temples Smt Munilakshmi, Superintendent Sri Umamaheswar Reddy , Temple inspector Sesha Reddy and others participated in the event.
