KAPILATEERTHAM REVERBERATES TO “SIVA NAMARCHANA”

TIRUPATI, 11 November 2014: The famous Lord Shiva shrine under the aegis of TTD, the Kapileswara Swamy temple, reverberated to the chant of “Siva Namarchana” on Tuesday as a part of “Laksha bilwarchana” conducted on the occasion of Karthika masa homam in the yagashala of the temple.

Earlier the day started with suprabhatam by 3am followed by Abhishekam by 3.30am, Archana by 5am, and the special ritual with one lakh Bilwa leaves which are considered to be highly sacred is carried out by the Saivagama Vedaparayanadars in the temple from 6am to 12 noon.

After the ritual, Maha Naivedyam has been rendered to the presiding deity followed by Swastirachanam and Deeparadhana. In the evening, the procession of utsava murthies took place between 6pm to 8pm.
