KARTHIKA VANA BHOJANAM OBSERVED WITH RELIGIOUS FERVOUR_ తిరుమలలో ఘనంగా కార్తీక వనభోజన మహోత్సవం

Tirumala, 5 November 2017: The surrounding lush green forests near by Paruveta Mandapam in Tirumala reverberated to the rhythmic melodious chanting of Pancha Suktas on the pleasant day on Sunday during snapanam performed to deities in connection with Karthika Vanabhojanam.

TTD made elaborate arrangements of annaprasadam and water to the scores of devotees who thronged the premises for Karthika Vanabhojanam, the traditional community dining which is considered to be most important in the month of Karthika.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said commenced the serving of Annaprasadam to devotees in the Vanabhojanam. Speaking on this occasion he said that the festival was in vogue some 400 years ago and was reinstated from 2010 onwards.

The devotees who thronged the Nakshatram Vanam premises of Paruveta Mandapam enjoyed the delicacies served by Annaprasadam department underneath the Amla trees.

The devotional songs by Annamacharya Project artistes remained as an added attraction for the religious event.

CVSO Sri A Ravikrishna, Temple DyEO Sri Kodanda Rama Rao, Annaprasadam DyEO Sri Venugopal, SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy, VGO Sri Ravinra Reddy and others were also present.

తిరుమలలో ఘనంగా కార్తీక వనభోజన మహోత్సవం

నవంబరు 05, తిరుమల, 2017: పవిత్ర కార్తీకమాసంలో నిర్వహించే కార్తీకవనభోజన మహోత్సవం ఆదివారంనాడు తిరుమల పార్వేట మండపంలో అత్యంత వైభవంగా జరిగింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో నిర్వహించే ఆర్జిత సేవలైన కల్యాణోత్సవం, ఊంజల్‌సేవ, ఆర్జిత బ్రహ్మూెత్సవం, వసంతోత్సవం, సహస్రదీపాలంకార సేవలను టిటిడి రద్దు చేసింది.

ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి విచ్చేసిన టిటిడి తిరుమల జెఈవో శ్రీ కె.ఎస్‌.శ్రీనివాసరాజు మాట్లాడుతూ తిరుమలలో 400 ఏళ్ల క్రితం వనభోజన మహోత్సవం జరిగేదని, 2010వ సంవత్సరంలో పునరుద్ధరించామని తెలిపారు. ప్రతి ఏడాదీ పవిత్ర కార్తీకమాసంలో ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహిస్తున్నట్టు చెప్పారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ మలయప్పస్వామివారికి వేడుకగా స్నపన తిరుమంజనం నిర్వహించినట్టు తెలిపారు.

కాగా, ఉదయం 8.30 గంటలకు శ్రీ మలయప్పస్వామివారిని చిన్న గజవాహనంపై ఉభయనాంచారులను పల్లకీపై ఆశీనులను చేసి ఊరేగింపుగా పార్వేటిమండపానికి తీసుకొచ్చారు. ఇక్కడి నక్షత్రవనంలో దేవతామూర్తులకు స్నపన తిరుమంజనం కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఆలయ అర్చకులు వైభవంగా నిర్వహించారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా పాలు, పెరుగు, తేనె, చందనం, పసుపు తదితర సుగంధద్రవ్యాలతో విశేషంగా అభిషేకం చేశారు. అనంతరం పార్వేట మండపంలో మధ్యాహ్నం 1 నుండి 3 గంటల వరకు కార్తీక వనభోజనోత్సవం వైభవంగా జరిగింది. వైదిక సనాతన సంప్రదాయంలో కార్తీకమాసంలో ఉసిరిక వనంలో కార్తీక వనభోజనానికి అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యత ఉంది. ఈ కారణంగా టిటిడి పార్వేట మండపంలోని ఉసిరిక వనంలో ఆదివారంనాడు కార్తీక వనభోజన మహోత్సవాన్ని ఘనంగా నిర్వహించింది. ఇందులో వేలాదిమంది భక్తులు పాల్గొని రుచికరమైన అన్నప్రసాదాలను స్వీకరించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా టిటిడి అన్నమాచార్య ప్రాజెక్టు కళాకారులు పలు అన్నమయ్య సంకీర్తనలను వీనులవిందుగా ఆలపించారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో టిటిడి సివిఎస్‌వో శ్రీ ఆకే రవికృష్ణ, డెప్యూటీ ఈవోలు శ్రీకోదండరామారావు, శ్రీ వేణుగోపాల్‌, విజివో శ్రీ రవీంద్రారెడ్డి, పేష్కార్‌ శ్రీ రమేష్‌బాబు ఇతర టిటిడి అధికారులు, పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
