KARVETINAGARAM GEARS UP FOR RAMNAVAMI FIESTA

Tirupati, 2 April 2016: The ancient temple of Lord Sri Venugopala Swamy in Karvetinagaram is set to observe three day special festival on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami from April 13-15.

On April 13 and 14 the deities of Lord Krishna flanked by Rukmini and Satyabhama would be given celestial aromatic bath between 9:30am and 10:30am followed by unjal Seva between 5:30pm and 6:30pm on both the days. On the first day there will be Tiruchi utsavam and second day Kalpavriksha vahanam between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.

On April 15, in connection with Sri Rama Navami, there will be Hanumantha VAHANAM the morning between 7:30am and 9:30am followed by Asthanam between 11:30am and 12:30pm and in the evening there will be Sarvabhupala vahanam between 7pm and 9pm.

On the same day evening Sita Rama Kalyanam will be performed at 5:30pm and the grihasta pilgrims can pay Rs.500. TTD has also organised cultural programmes during these days.
